Back to Drupal

I’m thinking about working with Drupal again, in the form of a personal web project journal. I want it to be web-based, so I can update and access it from any computer.

In the UNIX/Linux System Admin class I’m taking right now, the instructor starts off by stressing the importance of documentation and keeping good records on all projects. While I consider ExpressionEngine to be the ultimate content management system for the types of projects I do, I also think it would be good to have experience with an open source solution too.  Obviously I would want this journal to be for my viewing purposes only. I was thinking of making a private weblog in my ExpressionEngine install for this purpose...but then again, I thought, why shouldn’t I use this opportunity to give Drupal another try? (I must not have enough going on in my life with interviewing for a full-time job, taking five classes, working on a freelance project, starting a relationship with a new boyfriend, and trying to find the time to sew a work-suitable wardrobe grin.)
