Anne Kowalski

This is the textbook for my Client Side Scripting course at UCONN. I'm finding this book to be much more informative and useful than Teach Yourself JavaScript in 24 Hours. Yes, it is much thicker but this seems to be a good aspect in that informative explanations are given rather than just quick rundowns. When I read this book I tend to skim over the code examples rather than intensively go through each one. (I tend to study them in further detail when I have to do a case project for homework.)

However...I've had classmates complain about validation errors and typos, so maybe this book isn't for everyone. But I seem to be having no problem with it.
