Required final project for Digital Publishing. I designed it to mimic a real life portfolio review setting, with the thumbnails styled as 35mm slides, the background the same shade as a light box, and a loupe off to the side at the top. It took less than 24 hours from starting the design mockup to finishing and testing the code. For the rounded corners styling I relied heavily upon The Art and Science of CSS.
I would *love* to port this to something like WordPress or Drupal. It would be cool to incorporate searches and sorting, but since it is going to be hosted on the school’s server, using databases and PHP isn’t an option. So static page XHTML/CSS it is…
